| Using our new white boards to practice writing some funny Seuss words |
In other news, we had fun playing a new math game I picked up at Lakeshore Learning Center. If you ever watched The Price is Right, then PLINKO might sound familiar! This is Math Plinko, and the kids had a great time! I'm keeping track of which kids already played the game so that everyone will get a turn. Here are some photos of the new game on the whiteboard:
The game helps us practice addition, subtraction, counting, sequencing, and comparing! These games can be purchased for your own computers at home- just click HERE to see what games you can buy! There are great games to help your kiddo keep up with all that they've learned this year over the summer months, or to reinforce some concepts that they could use a little help with!
This week will be the week we study the letter Tt, so look for some shares that begin with Tt!
In your homework packets you will find a special information page describing two different Lenten activities- one to keep at home, and one to return to school, along with a strip of purple paper. We are learning that Lent is a time to help us become a better follower of Jesus, in anticipation of Easter. The color purple is a color the Church uses during Advent and Lent, as a sign of anticipation, waiting, and hope. Please read the information carefully! Thank you!
Have a wonderful weekend, and we will see everyone on Monday!
Take care!
